Regarded by our staff as a breakthrough vintage, the 2013 Brasas Cabernet is the first vintage that solidly expresses the intended style for this wine. When launching a new wine it always takes a few years for the team to sync the fruit and the expression of a wine. The intended style for Brasas is bold, fresh fruit with long firm tannins that will hold up to the fire and the food of any large BBQ. In 2013, Brasas features vibrant aromas of blackberry with a foundation of firm red clay. The tannins are powerful yet well polished, with a smooth refreshing finish.
