2017 Palmaz Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon "Brasas"

If the beautiful deep purple color of this wine doesn’t make you stop in your tracks, the aromatic “Hello” will; bright fruit notes literally jump out of the glass.  Ripe, dark berries and elements of smoked wood completely coat the palate upon first sip.  Second and third visits to the glass reveal more developed wood flavors that are perfectly integrated with bold but silky tannins.  This wine’s inception was designed around “the fire and the food”, but I also envision a gorgeous wagyu roast complimenting this wine just the same.  Our Cabernet is made to be a lasting addition to your cellar and this vintage will be no exception, but I encourage you to open a bottle now.  The 2017 Brasas has a lot to say right away and it would be a shame to miss it.
