Born in Davis, California, Gina spent her early months near one of the world’s most famous schools of viticulture and enology. This had a profound impact on the direction of her life, eliciting a deep passion for wine that’s evident to anyone who has seen her sniffing barrels or chasing interlopers through the vines.
Gina’s favorite vacation spot is on the beach in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. (Fortunately, she is fluent in both Spanish and English, so communicating with the locals is not a problem.) Her preferred food is grilled and shredded chicken breast — from GoodHeart, of course — but she’s also partial to table scraps when available. Her wine of choice is the Florencia Muscat Canelli. A darling of the paparazzi, Gina was featured in the book Wine Dogs USA.
