As Director of Operations at Palmaz Vineyards, Christian Palmaz manages a wide array of winery and vineyard activities. "I learned very early on that in a winery, no matter what position you might hold, there is no job too great or too menial. We all contribute to the goal of making great wines." Raised in San Antonio, Christian is a graduate of Trinity University with a degree in business. Early in his youth Christian learned to appreciate great food and wine from his parents. "Mom's cooking is enough to turn anyone into a foodie. My parents always enjoyed fine wines from all over the world at our evening meals. We drank bottles from Italy, France, South America, New Zealand and, of course, Napa Valley. At the time, I was far too young to appreciate the type of training program I was being put through. But I definitely appreciate it now." Chris now lives in the Napa Valley with his wife Jessica who also works at the winery as Director of Hospitality. Read the Family Member Biographies:
