2008 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Gaston
Our vineyards span more than 1000 feet of elevation, this diversity of terrain and micro climates give us a wide array of wines to blend into a symphony of flavors and textures. Occasionally during these blending sessions a single melody stands out and we are captivated. In 2008 the Cabernet from the steepest northern slope named Ladera caught our attention. We loved how the wine exhibited an explosion of lush textured cocoa and dark chocolate covered blackberries that begged to be set aside as Gaston.
