Balance and elegance is our goal every year with our Chardonnay. This wine is lovingly named after our mother Amalia whose finesse and style influences all of our wines.
We choose to source fruit both from the East and West side of Napa contributing inviting layers of citrus aromas and rich tropical flavors. On the East side, we source the fruit from two prestigious growers- Hyde and Beckstoffer. On the West side, the fruit is primarily sourced from our 300 feet elevation and the 1200 feet vineyards.
The Chardonnay is cold fermented underground in barrel and aged sur-lies for 7 months to ensure a subtle richness that does not overwhelm the fruit characteristics.
