2010 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Gaston Jeroboam
Christian Gaston’s first baby is our vineyard, and his son Gaston Oliver was born just as this wine released on Dec, 3rd 2013. The featured parcel for this release is Redwoods at the lower vineyard. This 1.44 acre vineyard flanks a line of old Redwood trees planted by Henry Hagen in the 1870’s. These massive trees encroach on the vineyard and compete for water and sunlight. It is this struggle that give these willy Cabernet vines a sad appearance but eventually yields delicious concentrated fruit. The resulting wine portrays all the delicious goodies you would want to give to new parents. Smell this glass and imagine the perfect gift basket loaded with fresh roses, dark chocolate truffles, cordials, and a good cigar for the new Dad.
Each of our Jeroboam bottles are etched, hand painted, and packed in an individual branded wooden box.
