2014 Palmaz Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon "Brasas"

The 2014 Brasas evokes one of the key characteristics of a Gaucho — his steely stare. In Argentina Gaucho’s are renown for their ability to peer great distances with an unwavering weather-worn stare. The structure and seemingly interminable finish of this wine slices down the palate like a liquid Facón, cutting through thick steaks with its well honed tannin edge. Aromas of soft leather, figs, and warm gingerbread round out this formidable wine. The result is strength and structure softly enveloped in kid gloves and well mannered enough for a fine dinning table, but most likely more comfortable outside by the grill.
